اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الشِّفَاءَ
Transliteration
Allahumma inni as'alukash-shifa'.
English Meaning
O Allah, I ask You for healing.

হে আল্লাহ! আমি আপনার কাছে আরোগ্য প্রার্থনা করছি।
Significance & Context
This minimalist supplication carries the full weight of direct petition to the Most Powerful. Scholars note that asking Allah for shifa (healing) without specifying the condition reflects absolute trust that Allah knows all ailments. Its brevity makes it ideal for continuous repetition for oneself or when placing a hand on one who is ill.
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ، اشْفِ أَنتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Allahumma Rabban-nas, adhhibil-ba'sa, ishfi antash-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uka, shifa'an la yughadiru saqaman.
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the affliction and heal; You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no illness.
