Significance & Context

Anas (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet ﷺ frequently recited this dua. It addresses six paired afflictions spanning mental (anxiety/grief), physical-spiritual (weakness/laziness), moral (miserliness/cowardice), and socioeconomic (debt/oppression) realms — making it one of the most comprehensive protection supplications in the Sunnah.
