Dua when beginning a journey (mounting a vehicle)

Hadith: Abu Dawood 2602; Tirmidhi 3446

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

Transliteration

Subhanal-ladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin. Wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun.

English Meaning

Glory be to the One Who has subjected this to us, and we were not capable of subduing it. And indeed, to our Lord we will surely return.

বাংলা অর্থ

পবিত্র তিনি যিনি এটিকে আমাদের অধীন করেছেন, অথচ আমরা এটিকে বশীভূত করতে সক্ষম ছিলাম না। আর নিশ্চয়ই আমরা আমাদের রবের কাছেই ফিরে যাব।

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ

Bismillahi, tawakkaltu alallahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.

In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah.
