Riyad as-Salihin 1872, Book 19, Hadith 4
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Transliteration
Rabb-ighfir li, wa tubb 'alayya, innaka Antat-Tawwabur-Rahim.
English Meaning
My Lord! Forgive me and pardon me. Indeed, You are the Oft-Returning with compassion, the Most Merciful.
বাংলা অর্থ
হে আমার প্রভু! আমাকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং আমার তওবা কবুল করুন। নিশ্চয়ই আপনি তওবা কবুলকারী, পরম দয়ালু।
Significance & Context
Ibn Umar (رضي الله عنه) reported that he counted the Prophet ﷺ repeating this supplication one hundred times in a single sitting. Its brevity and completeness make it ideal for frequent repetition throughout the day and in moments of regret.
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa illam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakunanna minal khasirin.
Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers.

Rabbighfir li wa liwaalidayya wa liman dakhala baytiya mu'minan wa lilmu'minina wal mu'minat; wa la tazidiz zalimina illa tabara.
My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and women. And increase the wrongdoers only in ruin.

Rabbana innana amanna faghfir lana dhunubana waqina adhaban nar.
Our Lord! We have surely believed, so forgive our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
