اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّىْ لآ إِلهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِىْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّمَا صَنَعْتُ، أبُوْءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوْءُ بِذَنْبِىْ فَاغْفِرْلِىْ، فَإِنَّهُ لاَيَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Transliteration
Allahumma anta rabbi la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa abu'u bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta.
English Meaning
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your slave. I am fulfilling my covenant and promise to You as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessing upon me and confess my sin to You, so forgive me, for truly none can forgive sins except You.
বাংলা অর্থ
হে আল্লাহ! তুমি আমার পালনকর্তা। তুমি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। তুমি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছ এবং আমি তোমার বান্দা। আমি যথাসাধ্য তোমার সাথে প্রতিশ্রুতি ও অঙ্গীকারে অটল রয়েছি। আমি নিজের কৃতকর্মের অনিষ্ট থেকে তোমার কাছে আশ্রয় চাই। তোমার দেওয়া নিয়ামতের স্বীকৃতি দিচ্ছি এবং নিজের পাপের কথা স্বীকার করছি — আমাকে ক্ষমা করো, কারণ তুমি ছাড়া কেউ গুনাহ মাফ করতে পারে না।
Significance & Context
The Prophet ﷺ said whoever recites this with firm belief during the day and dies before evening, or at night and dies before dawn, will be among the people of Paradise. It is called Sayyidul Istighfar — the master of all supplications for forgiveness — because it combines acknowledgment of Allah's lordship, admission of one's covenant, seeking refuge, acknowledging blessings, confessing sin, and a plea for pardon.
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa illam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakunanna minal khasirin.
Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers.

Rabbighfir li wa liwaalidayya wa liman dakhala baytiya mu'minan wa lilmu'minina wal mu'minat; wa la tazidiz zalimina illa tabara.
My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and women. And increase the wrongdoers only in ruin.
